Hernando de Soto
Hernando de Soto was invited by Davilla, governor of Darien Georgia to join him on an expedition to the West Indies when he was only 14. When Hernando de Soto was 32 he was named the second in command to the explorer Franciso Pizzaro on his expedition to conquer the Peru. -
