In kindergarten and 1st grade we would listen along to stories using a cassette tape. -
Teachers would model lessons using these and students would use them when writing down questions in front of the whole class. -
We typically just used computers for typing class. We occasionally were directed to some research on them that was heavily monitored. -
SMART Boards were installed in almost every classroom at my school. We would use them as a white board but get the benefits of technology. -
This was another form of projecting and modeling things on the board. Students would use this tool when they would help the teacher model or when we would give presentations.
