    location- Southeastern Mexico and northern Central America
    Fact/ Achievement: Developed the science of astronomy, calendar system, and hieroglyphic writing.

    Gupta Empire

    Location- India
    Fact/Achievement: Developed advancement in Science, Engineering,art,dialectics,logic,mathematics,astronomy,religion,and philosophy.
  • Period: 330 to 1450

    Byzantine Empire

    Location- Mediterranean sea, italy, Greece, and Turkey along with portions of North Africa and Middle East.
    Fact/Achievement:Preservation of Greek and Roman civilization during the Middle East.
  • Period: 618 to

    Imperial china ( Tang-Ming Dynasties)

    Location- China,Korea Peninsula, Yellow River and the Yangtze River
    Fact/Achievement: Tang Dynasty gave rise to a new period of expanded growth by trading along the silk road routes, and the later ming dynasty binit on that with expansion across most of Afro-Eurasia.

    Muslim Empire ( Rashidun-Abbasid Caliphate)

    location- Fertile Crescent, North Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
    Fact/Achievement: A vast territory was conquered comprising Mesopotamia, the Levant, parts of Anatoila, and most of the Sasanian Empire.

    Japan ( Heian and edo periods)

    Location- Tokyo
    Fact/Achievement: Leyasu established a new government in Edo and became the first shogun of the Edo Bakufu in 1603. Creation of a japanese writing (kana) using chinese characters, mostly phonetically, which permitted the production of the world's first novel the tale of Genji by Murasaki Shikibu.

    Fact/Achievement: Made up of various independent states and territories.

    Facts/Achievement: Ghana was the first sub-Saharan Africa country to gain independence from colonial rule.
