  • Small Eruption

    At 12:30pm Mt. St. Helens has a small eruption.

  • Word gets out

    At 12:40pm the word get out to the US Geological Survey.

  • US G.S. Scientists Install more Equipment

    At 12:30pm Us G.S. Scientist install more monitoring equipment at their main observation post.

  • Citizens are Evacuated

    At 2:00pm 40 residents that live near the summit of the mountain are evacuated.

  • A record breaking numbers

    At 10:50am a record breaking number of tourist and news reporters at Mt. St. Helens.

  • Bulge Apperars

    A bulge appears on the northside of Mt. St. Helens.

  • Coldwater Two

    The US G.S. Scientists set up a new observation site called Coldwater Two.

  • Ash Clouds

    At 10:10am the ash cloud reaches Yakima, Washington.

  • The Eruption

    At 8:32am Mt. St. Helens erupts.

  • President Visits

    At 1:00pm President Jimmy Cater visits Washington.

  • The Second Eruption

    Mt. St. Helens erupts again but it is not as major as the one before.

  • The Last Body

    The last body is found from the eruption.

  • The Monument

    The Mt. St. Helens monument is established.

  • The Reunion

    A reunion was set up for those who survived Mt. St. Helens.
