    Korean War 1950-1953
    Korean War, conflict between the North Korea and South Korea in which at least 2.5 million persons lost their lives. The war reached international proportions in June 1950 when North Korea was supplied and advised by the Soviet Union and invaded the South. The United Nations, with the United States as the principal participant, joined the war on the side of the South Koreans, and the People’s Republic of China came to North Korea’s.

Many thought Elvis made this move up himself, but really it came from a kid dancing to Elvis's music. Elvis lived with the family named the Gump's until he could get on his feet. Now his move is seen as profound and jaw dropping.

    Beginning of the Cold War
    The start of the Cold War was at the end of World War II, the Allied powers divided conquered Germany into four zones, each occupied by either the United States, Great Britain, France, or the Soviet Union as agreed at the Potsdam Conference. The same was done with Germany's capital city, Berlin. As the relationship between the Soviet Union and the other three Allied powers quickly disintegrated, the cooperative atmosphere of the occupation of Germany turned competitive and aggressive.

    In June of 1963 the University of Alabama desegrated its University allowing 3 African American students to enroll and attend the school. The governor of Alabama George Wallace disapproved highly of African Americans being enrolled to a prestige college and being able to attend a school with all whites. Governor Wallace stood with the protestors at the University while the African Americans went into the school. President Kennedy issued a presidetal proclamation which sent forces down to Alabama

    On November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was shot twice in the head while riding in his drop top limo. His wife to the left of him watched as her husbands brains and blood pour from his head. President Kennedy was killed in Dallas Texas bu Lee Harvey Oswald who however was killed before trial.

    Malcom X murdered
    Activist Malcolm X was born as Malcolm Little in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1925, Malcolm was the son of James Earl Little, a Baptist preacher who advocated the black nationalist ideals of Marcus Garvey. In 1946, at the age of 21, Malcolm was sent to prison on a burglary conviction. It was there he encountered the teachings of Elijah Muhammad, the leader of the Nation of Islam, whose members are popularly known as Black Muslims.On February 21, 1965 Malcolm was shot to death by Islam members.

    In 1966 a new revolution of men and women dressed in all black called themselves The Black Panther Party. The Black Panthers believed in both caucasians and African Americans should have equal rights. The panthers showed military posture which expressed there drive and eager attitude to getting equal rights.

    Robert F. Kennedy brother of former president John F. Kennedy was assassinated 5 years later. Robert was trying to make his run for presidency but was killed after midnight during one of his campaigns. Kennedy murder is still unsolved.

On August 9, 1974, facing likely impeachment for his role in covering up the scandal, Nixon became the only U.S. president to resign.

    USA pulls out Vietnam War
    In 1961 U.S. President John F. Kennedy sent the first large force of U.S. military personnel to Vietnam to. Three years later, with the South Vietnamese government crumbling, President Lyndon B. Johnson ordered limited bombing raids on North Vietnam, and Congress authorized the use of U.S. troops. On January 1973, representatives of the United States, North and South Vietnam, and the Vietcong signed a peace agreement in Paris, ending the direct U.S. military involvement in the Vietnam War.

    Apple Computer company was created in the year 1975 by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. In this year apple computers were first invented in the form of video terminal that could log on to the minicomputers at Call Computer. In the film Forrest gets a letter in the mail from Apple inc. in regards to his share in stock i their company and how it began to take flight.
