The well known Hubble aperture space telescope is the largest aperture telescope launched in space. Hubble's main instruments observe space are the near ultraviolet, visible, and near infrared. Hubble was made by NASA, with contributions from the European Space Agency, and is operated by the Space Telescope Science Institute. Hubble's main missions were repair missions Servicing Missions 1, 2, 3A, 3B and 4.
