In the second crusade, territory was lost to the Turks to reclaim "their" land. They were unsuccessful and came home empty-handed. -

The third crusade was led by 3 monarchs, one drowned and one pouted and went home. After many wars a truths was met in 1192 and Jerusalem was remained in Muslim control; Saladin promised unarmed Christian pilgrims could visit holy places. -

In the fourth and last crusade, there was a breach in 2 churches: Constantinople and the Church in the West which was the capitol of Rome. The breach became permanent just because of the actions from the crusades. -

When the Magna Carta was signed, it only applied to the nobles and the "free man". The Magna Carta held everything together so well that it carried on to the American colonies. Once America was established, the Magna Carta became a part of the legal rules. -

The parliament is like a congress. It is made up of many people and they vote together to create new laws. The parliament was made up of two houses: the upper and the lower. The upper house was made up of nobles and church lords. The lower class was made up of knights and townspeople. -

This war started when the Capetian king died and his grandson claimed the throne. This caused a fued. The war between France and Englad lasted for over a hundred years. -

Black Death
The Black Death, also known as the Bubonic Plague, was caused by bodies being thrown into the sewege lines and rats drinking the water. Once the rats drank the water, fleas would suck their blood and would cause them to get infected. The mogols took a voyage to Europe and rats and fleas snuck on the boat and got Europe infected. It took a couple of years for somebody to find a cure and there still wasn't a definite one. -

Great Schism
The Great Schism occured from two Popes having control over the empire. People had no idea who to believe. The high power re-elected a new Pope to lead and forced the other two to retire. -
