  • Joined the IIT Sailing Team

    After "thinking" about it for 4.5 years, I joined the IIT sailing team. A new passion discovered!!

  • First Time to Sail

    Sailed out of Chicago Yacht Club, Belmont Harbor, on team 420's. I was instantly hooked.

  • First Regatta

    University of Minnesota, Minneapolis-St. Paul
    Snow, freezing conditions - one of my favorite memories. Winds were > 10 kts. College sailing is a blast.

  • Team Spring Break Trip to the Florida Keys

    13 of us drove to -------- to charter a 50 ft. Gulf Star Sailboat. Set sail for Bahamas. Too rough, too inexperienced, headed to the Florida Keys for the week.

  • Season Completed and Graduation Occurs

  • Begin Post College Sailing

    Was asked to crew with a professor, Dr. David Williams, with other Crew Dr. Candace Wark on Dave's Soling, an Olympic class racing boat.

  • The movie "Wind" comes out

    Watched it at least 3 times at the movies and 15 times at home.

  • We place 3rd in the Great Lakes Soling Championships

    Most inexperienced crew, and only all female crew, with male skipper.

  • Begin New Job - Saling on hold

    too much travel, not enough sailing.

  • Discover Mobile, AL on a business trip - a lot of sailing goes on here

  • First Dauphin Island Race

  • Move to Mobile, AL for work and sailing

  • First Sail on a Star Boat

  • Bought Star Boat and sailed it for the first time on Mobile Bay

  • Join Buccaneer Yacht Club

  • Sail First Knost Regatta in Flying Scots
