  My parents, big sister and I moved from India to Chicago, IL. Meeting my mom's family at the airport for the first time was overwhelming and exciting all at once

  My grandfather and cousin passed away in a car accident that also took the lives of a few other distant relatives. This was an extremely tragic and traumatic event in my life. I was very much affected by this incident and still brings me anxiety even today

  I start middle school, start going through puberty, shoot up several inches, make a lot of new friends, learn that I have a passion for science

  I got my license. I felt more independent and was now able to go out with my friends without relying on rides from my parents

  My big sister gets married. This was a very happy time in my life welcoming my brother-in-law into our family

  I got my first job as a receptionist at a doctor's office. This part-time job and new type of responsibitly led me to want to pursue a career in the health care field

  I start working at a doctor's office to gain experiene in the health field. I have an increased load of responsibilities

  I started volunteering as a Sunday School teacher to give back to my community. It gave me a great sense of appreciation to know that so many of my students looked up to me and considered me a role model

  I started my Masters in Public Health to continue with my education

  My kids are now both going through their teenage years. Although its a challenge to deal with, I'm glad to have the support and help of my husband.

  Now that I am in my mid-fifty's, I really do feel that my body is going through several changes. I now visit my doctor and dentist more frequently than before, I get tired pretty easily and now more than ever really have to watch my diet. As my body is going through several changes, I am learning more about myself and what I can and can no longer handle

  Now that I am 65, I reprioritize my life. My husband and I are now both retired and we like to stay active in our home and garden.

  My husband and I celebrate our 50th wedding anniversay at a wonderful party thrown for us by our beloved family and friends.

  In the comfort of my home, with all my loved ones by my side I take my last breath. As I realize what is to come, I accept my fate and feel blessed to have lived such a long and fruitful life.
