Thumb sucking
Cognitive Development. I began sucking my thumb right away after I was born. -
Started laughing
Psychosocial Development. I started laughing all the time when I was 9 weeks old. I would laugh at everything and loved smiling at people! -

Biosocial Development. I started walking just a little bit before my first birthday! -
Little sister born
My little sister Kelly was born. I was so excited to become a big sister! -

Cognitive Development. I could read when I was in first grade. I was 6 years old. I loved it, which has changed now! My friends and I loved when reading time started. -
Lost tooth
Biosocial Event. I lost my first tooth when I was 7! I remember thinking that my teeth were never going to fall out and was always so jealous when one of my friends lost a tooth. -
Fear
Psychosocial Development. My best friend got bit by a dog when we were in the 3rd grade. She has a large scare on her face and i was so scared of all big and black dogs for a long time after that. -
Annie
Psychosocial Development. When I was in 5th grade, I was in the play Annie at a theater inside a mall. I was cast to play Grace, who is a pretty big role in the play. I was so excited because I loved to sing but I had never acted before. It turned out well and I only forgot one of my lines and one show! -

Starting Highschool
Cognitive Development. I started high school in 2006. I was never really never about high school. I had a lot of friends at my church and I wasn't really concerned with making new friends at school. I was happy with the ones I already had. High school was never too bad for me. -
Family
Psychosocial Develpment. During my freshmen year of high school my grandma was put into hospice. It was really hard for everyone in my family but it was the time that my family and I all got really close to eachother. We realized that we need eachother and it has been really nice since then. -
Boyfriend
Biosocical Development. I started dating my boyfriend in 2008. I was 15 years old and he was only 13. We have known eachother since I was 9 and we have always liked eachother. We are still together now. -

Emerging Adulthood Age 18-22 -
Boyfriend moved
Biosocial Development. In 2010, my boyfriend moved to Omaha, Nebraska. It was really hard and we had to decide what we wanted to do about our relationship. We decided to stay together and it has now been almost 2 years. It was, and still is really stressful. -
Bought puppy
I bought myself a puppy. He's a black lab/coonhound. He is the best. -
Marriage
Psychosocial Development. In April of 2015 my elementary school sweetheart and I got married. We had our dream outdoor wedding. All of our family and friends were there and we felt so blessed. It was a fairytale. -

Adulthood
Ages 25-65 -
Children
Biosocial Development. I had my first babies in 2017. We had beautiful twin boys. We named them Aidan and Landon. They were the most perfect babies in the world. We went on to have 2 more kids, both girls. -
Raise
Cognitive Development. I got at huge raise at my job. I work as a nurse in a children's cancer clinic. I love it. I worked for an oncologist when I was in high school and I loved it. I love kids and so it is the perfect job for me. -
Vow renewal
Psychosocial Development. For mine and Matt's 30th wedding anniversary, we decided to renew our vows. We had a beautiful ceremony. The kids we the wedding party. We had it in Hawaii and it was just a really nice moment for the whole family. -

Late Adulthood
Age 65-death -
Retirement
Psychosocial Development. At the age of 68 I retired from nursing. I had a wonderful career and loved my job the who time I was working. -
Took a fall
Biosocial Development. I took a fall while walking at my daughters house. I ended up breaking my hip and having to have surgery and be in the hospital for quite some time but I healed up well and was as good as new. -
Dementia
Cognitive Development. When I was 82, I developed dementia. It was hard for Matt and I but I passed away before it get too bad. I was always able to recognize my family and friends. -
Death
Matt and I both died on March 31. I was 84 and he was 82. We were in our own home and were laying in our own bed together. It was just the way we had always wanted to go.
