First iPhone introduced
On January 9, 2007, the first iPhone was introduced to the public. It was called the iPhone 2G. -
iPhone 3G
In July 2008, the newer iPhone 3G was released. The newer model included some new features, including the App store. -
iPhone 3GS
Almost a year after the release of the iPhone 3G, Apple released a newer version, which included a faster processer and a better camera. -
iPhone 4
In June 2010, Apple introduced a new, updated iPhone. This phone was the first to have a high-resolution display, front-facing camera, and a new, updated design. -
iPhone 4S
Just over a year after the release of the iPhone 4, the iPhone 4S was released. This was the first phone to include Siri. The camera was improved, and it got a better processer. -
iPhone 5
On September 21, 2012, Apple unveiled another new phone, the iPhone 5. This phone was the first to introduce the new digital lightning connector. -
iPhone 5S and 5C
In 2013, Apple released both the iPhone 5s and 5C. The 5C was the first iPhone to be offered in 5 colors. The iPhone 5S was the first to have a fingerprint sensor and include iOS 7. -
iPhone 6 and 6 Plus
The iPhone 6 had a 4.7 inch screen and a better camera. The iPhone 6 Plus had a 5.5 inch screen and was the largest iPhone ever released. -
iPhone 6S
The iPhone 6S was identical to the iPhone 6, but had a lot of new updates including live photos. -
iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
The iPhone 7 features a better camera and improved water resistance.
