In Calcutta they speak Bengali, Hindi and English. in the 17 th century Queen Elizabeth I started the East Indian Company and they started trading between India and Brittain. To communicate, English was used, but it was sometimes difficult because the words in Indian English meant different things. After a while they made a dictionary called Hobson Jobson.
The Indian people wanted to learn English good so they could experience English culture, read English books. -
The Carribien
The Carribien were a place were a lot of slave trade had place. Especially The Triangle Trade. First Europeans took guns and alkhol to The Carribien were they sold it for slaves that they took with them to the south and north America. Over there they sold them for silver and gold and came back with it to Europe to sell it to rich people. The traders made a lot of money this way and it were very profitable. -
Australia History
In Australia at this time they had over 250 languages and most of them was Aboriginal languages.
11 ships came with 780 criminals that was charged with life time in prison and the Brittish people didn't have enough space for them. The 11 ships arrived at Port Jackson. The criminals were not allowed to go back to England.
Because of that the people who came didn't know how to farm, which animals lived there or the climate, the criminals got problems with food. -

Today they have developed Binglish and Hinglish and they are mixtures of English, Bengali and Hindi. Today English is speaked by more people in India and is very popular on the internet, but the some of the street names have been changed to Bengali again.
