The dust bowl was a severe drought with dust storms that caused high winds with dust flying everywhere causing difficulty to farm, see, be outdoors, and more. Many livestock died and crops failed. Due to this many families suffered economically. -

The Vietnam war was between Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. On March 8th, 1965 the U.S. entered the war. The war was a fight over communist governments in North and South Vietnam. The war lasted from November 1, 1955 to April 30, 1975. -

On September 22, 1963, John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jackie Kennedy were riding in the back of a car in a parade through Dallas when a shot was fired and John F. Kennedy died. -
Waco Siege
The Waco Siege lasted from February 28, 1993, to April 19, 1993. Also known as the Waco massacre the siege was a law enforcement act of siege on the compound that belonged to a religious cult Branch Davidians. Almost 80 people died in the siege of the compound.
