    Leewenhoek was born on October 24th in 1632 and died on August 26th 1727. He discoverd micrscopes and single-celled organisms and bacteria in 1676.
  • Matthias Scleiden

    Scleiden was born on April 5th 1804 and died on June 23rd,1881. Scleiden helped found the cell theory for plants in 1838.
  • Theodor Schwann

    Theodor Schwann
    Theodor was December 7th 1810 and died Januray 11th , 1882
    In 1839, he extended Schleiden's cell theory to animals, stating that all living things are composed of cells. He believed that new cells form principally outside pre-existing cells.
