CRT TV
CRT TV is a television device that uses cathode ray tubes. These tubes contain one or more electron guns and fluorescent screens that are used to view images (Marshall, 2018). As a child, I grew up with a CRT TV that was our household's main television from the time I was born in 2005 until my early childhood around 2012. My recollection of it includes its bulky and heavy design, as well as the requirement of an antenna for better channel reception. -

Newspaper
Newspaper is a paper that is printed and distributed usually daily or weekly and that contains news, articles of opinion, features, and advertising (Merriam Webster, 2024). I rarely read newspaper but before, I occasionally browse the entertainment section for puzzles or comics to pass the time when I'm bored. -
LED TV
LED is a type of display which stands for “light-emitting diode.” An LED TV uses a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel—or “backlight”—to control where light is distributed to display the image on the screen (Silvia, 2021). Around 2013, we upgraded from CRT TV to LED TV, primarily because of the LED's quality display, slimmer design, and lighter weight. This shift also introduced us to TV Boxes, which have become part of our entertainment setup and continue to be used today. -

It houses the physical hardware that makes a computer run and connects to input devices that users interact with (Lockhart, 2022). Initially, I struggled with figuring out the power button and keyboard functions, but with my cousins' assistance, I managed to grasp them. -

It allows instant access to vast information without the need to borrow books from libraries, making it convenient. -

However, these days, I rarely use our radio as I rely more on my smartphone for entertainment and information. -
Smartphone
Smartphones are portable devices that perform all of the operations of a computer. They are referred to as "smartphones" as a result of technological advancement (Rana, 2022). In 2016, I acquired my first smartphone, and since then, I've owned a total of four smartphones. I find it to be the most portable, convenient, and versatile device, accompanying me to school and during travels, as well as providing nearly all the functions of a personal computer in a compact form. -
