Meeting of Estates General
The first meeting of Estates-General took place at Versalles, France. This meeting happened to have approval of raising taxes becuase of the debt France had for the war. This meeting includied all 3 estates. -

Storming of the Bastille
In the morining of July 14, a army full of people from a National Assembly which began to search for gunpowder and arms. The Parisians stormed the prison called Bastille in Paris, France. This happened becuase there was some bullets fired from the fortress so the people got mad and stormed + killed the governor. -
National Assembly declares Declaration of the Rights of Man
The Declaration of the Rights of Man was decided in the National Assembly. The citizens declared and argued "men are born and remain free and equal in rights." They wanted LIberty, Equality and Fraternity. In the National Assembly they expressed there feelings and ideas. -
October March
This march was one of the most significant events of the French Revolution.The march began in the marketplaces of Paris. Woman were angry because the bread was expensive leading them to march armed to Versailles with knives and axes. -
Legislative Assembly created.
The legistlative Assambly was created by two oposing groups which they dicosed the new contitiution of limited monarchy. During the Assembly there were political debates about new laws been made. -
King Louis XVI Death
Jacobins trailed Louis because he betrayed him. King Louis XVI is found guilty and is sent to death. He was beheaded in public by a matchine called the guillotine in January 21, 1793. -
Legislative assembly declares war on Austria and Prussia.
In the Legislative Assembly, located in France was forced to declare war on Austria and Prussia. They declared war becuase they feared similar revolts might happen due to the influence of the French,who wanted to spread their extrodanary ideas across Europe. -
The National Convention, the new governing body.
The national convention was formed elected to provide a new consitution for the country after the overthrow of the monarchy. It was located in France. -
Robespierre became a dictator, leader
Robespierre was a great leader followed by Jocabins. Robespierre had an idea of creating a "republic of virue", with this change he pretended to close churches and change important dates. After fighting he finally goverend France as a dictator ship. This pierod is also know as a Reign of terror. -
Roberspierre Death
Roberspierre was betraded by the members of the National Assembly. They demand his death by arresting him and sending him to be executed. The famous time called Regin of terror was finally over with Roberspierre death. He died unheaded in the Guillotine machine. -
