    Council of Gods

    Zues called the gods together to convince them not to partake in battle in the war of Troy and Greece. He warned the gods to not stoop beneath themselves but to only grant godlike dispensations to their favorites.

    Posiden's Rebuttal

    After Zues' claim, Posiden argued that the gods shouldn't care about the conflicts of man and to favorite those who give them praise. He said that the Trojans sacrificed many cattle and gave much praise to Zues while the Greeks didn't. He then left the council and had convinced Zues that he should aid the Trojans in battle.

    Troy Attacks

    After being convinced to favor the Trojans, he goes to the battle and gives a sign of thunder to the Trojan warriors that he favors them. Confident, Hector lead an attack on Greece and pushed them back to their ships.

    Greek Counterattack

    The Greeks responded to the attack with a counterattack. Diomedes lead the attack and steered a chariot towards Hector with his spear drawn. Zues saw this and struck lightning bolts towards the chariot. The smoke and sulphur made Diomedes retreat back behind Greek lines.

    Zues Gives Courage to the Greeks

    After being pushed back closer to their ships, Hector gathered his men to help them fight and stand up to the Trojans. During his speech he broke into hoarse sobs and cried out to Zues. Zues heard this cry and relented helping the Trojans for a bit and gave hope and courage to the Greek fighters.

    Hera Dissatisfied

    Hera, who had favored the Greeks during the war, wanted to come down to the battle and aid the Greeks. She was stopped though by Athena. She remined Hera that they can't help in the battlefield. Athena also told her that the Trojans would eventually fall once Agamemnon pleaded to Achilles to come and fight for them.

    Troy Prevails

    The discussion between the two Greeks gave time for Hector to hurl a boulder at the archer. After that Zues felt he'd blessed the Greeks fairly and withdrew his favor. The Trojans continued to push Greece towards their ships.
  • 1300 BCE

    Greece Fights Back

    Encouraged like the other Greeks, Teucer now became one of the best archers in the battle and was killing multiple Trojans. Agamemnon approached him and told him to fire faster and kill even more Trojans while Zues was blessing them.
