Thomas Kuhn taught Philosophy of Science, along with history in 3 different universities. From 1951 - 1956, he taught at Harvard; from 1956 - 164, he taught at the University of California Berkely; and from 1979 - 1991, he taught at MIT. During this time, he had an immense impact on Philosophy of Science and contributed to its progression during the 20th century. -

American historian and Philosopher of Science Thomas Kuhn publishes a book named "The structure of Scientific Revolutions" in which he explained the advancement of science through "paradigm shifts", a term that challenges the previously accepted idea that science is a linear accumulation of knowledge.
