    Born on October 27, 1858 in New York City. Also known as the youngest man to become president in the US. His parents named Theodore Thee Roosevelt and Martha Mittie Bulloch. He usually stayed inside his house because of his illness and asthma.

    On September 6, Buffalo, New York a anarchist Leon Czolgosz shoots McKinley 3 times into his chest. Later on September 14, he was pronounced dead and Roosevelt was immediately named President. McKinley murder said before his death on the electric chair " i killed the president because he was the enemy of the good people- the good working people"

This was all made possible because in the early 19th century, plume hunters gathered eggs and exterminated almost all of the egrets, it nearly destroyed the population of brown pelicans hint also the name of the island " Pelican island." In the 1800's they used the birds feathers to sell in markets for fashion accessories.

It was passed by a 250 to 6 vote in the House.This act also gave federal courts to end rate discrimination. When Roosevelt found out about this act he supported it in private correspondence.

    Successfully becoming President after the assassination of William McKinley. Later was re-elected to second term in 1904 competing against Alton B Parker. Roosevelt's success of winning the second term was because of his success with foreign affairs and his records against monopolies.

This act is about regulating pharmaceuticals and food products to have truth in labeling and to create a list of 10 dangerous drugs that have to be labeled at all times. This was also supposed to help to improve public health and sanitation.

    Right after Roosevelt declines to run again for president he leaves his good friend William Howard Taft to run. After that he went to Africa to seek specimens for the Smithsonian institution. Along with him was his son kermit and also he had 250 porters coming with and eventually found 1,100 specimens including big game. His visit lasted a whole year.

    In 1928, he ran for governor for New York and later on gained enough confidence to run for president and also knowing how much the US was suffering from the great depression. He took office in March of 1933. The Bull moose party also known as the progressive party. On August 7,1912 was met in convention and made Roosevelt president and governor Hiram W Johnson the vice president. It called for revision of the political nominating machinary.

With 750,000 acres of land, the use of drugs, guns and alcohol during the summer in the Yosemite park was being very difficult to handle. Also with bears and coyotes roaming around the park in day and night time.
