Battle of New Orleans
Andrew Jackson took Pensacola in Spainish Florida to keep British from using it as a base. Jacksons force included thousands of fronteirsmen, some citizens of New Orleans and African Americans. American soldiers dug trenches to protect themselves from British attacks. More then 2,000 British soldiers died by U.S sharpshooters. Only 7 Americans died.
