Huge victory for the British. US militia ran away before firing a shot. British then marched on Washington D.C and burned the White House, although the preident was not there as he had fled. -

The USA's biggest victory of the war. After the war was over but the generals never got that message. -
War ends
War ends even though peace had been agreed upon earlier the battle of New Orleans kept it going.
