Peleus and Thetis don't invite Eris, the goddess fo discord, to their wedding. Eris is furious and her actions start a series of events that spiral out of control and eventually cause the Trojan War. -

Paris Kidnapps Helen
Aphrodite gives Paris permission to marry the most beautiful woman alive, Helen of Sparta. But Helen is already married to Menelaus, so Paris visits them and takes her bacl to Troy with him. -
Jan 4, 1195
A Fleet is Assembled to Storm Troy
Menelaus is enraged at Paris and begins to assemble an army to attack Troy. Warriors Achilles and Odysseus attemt to avoid the draft, but are ultimately persuaded to fight. They are the two factors that the Greeks will need to win the war. (As told by the gods) -

After the war, Menelaus intends to kill Helen for being disloyal, but he decides to spare her, and they get back together. -
