Patroclus was by far no where near as good as a fighter as Achilles, and when his death occured it was a major turning point in the war. Patroclus's bestfriend Achilles then had to change the Trojan Hero Hector to single combat. Achilles fought as hard as he could and eventually drived Trojans back to Troy. -
