Move to a new studio
With the newsroom gone in 1955, the show moved locations to a bigger studio across the the street. The show remained there until the early 1960's. -

Katie Couric
Katie Couric was an anchor until 2006. She then went on to host the World News. -
Al Roker
Al Roker joined the Today Show as the weather man in 1996. Later in 2006, he was added as a third hour anchor. -
Matt Lauer
Matt Lauer joined the Today Show as an anchor in 1997 and is still working for the network. -
Brand new studio!
After Katie Couric left the show, Studio 1A in Rockafeller center underwent major changes. when the changes were finally finished, The Today Show moved in to the studio and is still there today. -

New graphics were introduced to help better the studio and show. -
Ann Curry
Ann Curry joined the show in 2011 and is an anchor for the show. -
Natalie Morales
Natalie Morales joined the Today Show in 2006 as a third hour anchor but in 2011 she became a news anchor as well.
