Czar Nicholas II abdicates the Russian throne
Nicholas II, ruler of Russia since 1894, is forced to abdicate the throne by the Petrograd insurgents, and a provincial government is started in his place. After he did so the Orthdox Church killed his family. He abdiccated the throne for another reason because he led Russia into a costly, bad war. -

If the Bolshevik Revolution is the most significant political event of the 20th century, then Lenin must for good or bad be regarded as the century’s most important political leader. He is a very good thinker, scholar, and statesman. After he died Stalin just said, hey since there is no one else running for leader I'll just jump in.
