    He became czar after his father passed away, his father dying due to kidney failure. At this time he had a wife and four children named Olga, Tatiana, Anastasia, and Alexei.

    A large crowd of protesters who meant no harm were shot by troops. About 130 people were killed during this event.

    Many countries were brought into the war due to the alliance system, which meant that no matter the situation, if you were in an alliance with another country, you had to help them in war. Russia was going against Austria-Hungary, due to the alliance system, and Austria-Hungary was invading Serbia, of which Russia was allies with.

    People of Russia were demanding that he is no longer to be the czar of Russia. He and his family were held captive in various areas in Russia, so no one could rescue them.

    He makes his return of about over ten years after being exiled from Russia. Upon his return he immediately commanded the Provisional Government to be overthrown, but due to most soviets being under another control, his demand had very little power.

    The Bolsheviks overthrew the government and had taken control. This had caused Russia to leave WW1.

    The Bolshevik Party took over the government so they could take control of what the government did. They accomplished this in a matter of only two days, as on October 24, 1917, they went to the government and began overthrowing them.

    The capital of Russia changed from St. Petersburg to Moscow, for Lenin feared that an invasion may occur. This change happened soon after the Russian Revolution.

    They were against anyone who disliked them, even to the point where they created a secret police force to get rid of anyone who didn't like them. They also formed an army of which they called the Red Army for their support of communism.

    The Treaty of Brest-Litovsk was signed, and the treaty got Russia out of the war. The reason this happened was because the Bolshevik Party, or the Communist Party, overpowered the Russian government.

    He was urged to retire from politics. After the second stroke, Lenin had to relearn how to speak and write with his left hand.

    He died while reshaping communism in Russia, due to poor health issues. After his death, Stalin took his place and went on to finish what Lenin begun.
