This event took place in Imperial Russia. Officers of the Russian army let about 3,000 soldiers againts Nicholas 1 in a protest. They did this due to Nicholas 1 taking the power/responsiblity of the throne after his brother Constantine removed himself from the line. -
Nicholas 11 Becomes Czar of Russia
Nicholas 11 became the Czar of Russia on November 1, 1894. He ruled until he was forced abdication on March 15, 1917. -

This war was fought between the Russian Empire and the Empire of Japan. The war was caused by the Russian and Japanese Empires disagreeing over who gets what parts of Manchuria and Korea. The Japanese ended up winning the war and Russia lost. -

The March Revolution started with rioting and strikes in St. Petersburg. What started this rioting was food shortages in the city and the worsening economy. -

The Petrograd insurgents forced Czar Nicholas 11 to abdict the throne. In the Czar's place, a provincial government was installed. -
