    The Mexican Cession of 1848 was lots debates of slave state and some don’t want any slavery be banned everywhere. There was 3 sectionalism one was the North they wanted Slavery banned everywhere, the Moderate was in the middle and they voted, and the South wan5tted slavery.

    The Missouri Compromise 1819 was the Missouri asked to join as a slave state. The latitude 36 30 was the line that made it a slave state or a free state. Senator Henry Clay lied and he made Missouri a slave state and Maine as a free state. Also it was 11 slave/11 free Senate.

    The Compromise of 1850 was that California wanted join as a free state but the us just ended the Mexican War. California joins as a free state and they also found gold and started the gold rush.     The Fugitive Slave Law 1850 was South wanted any slaves that escape they returned back to them. Also if you don’t return a slave it’s a fine of $1000 or 6 months in jail. Judges will get $10 for sending a slave to south and $5 to let slave free. Also slaves begin heading to Canada.
