Navigation Acts
The Nav Acts regulated trade between E and 13 C's. This caused friction between E and 13 C's because they could only export to england and 13 colonies and only export some goods. They could only trade w/ eachother. -

The Proclmation of 1763
The Proclmation of 1763 was when Native Americans grew angry at colonists for invading their property. England did not want a fight between colonists and Natives to they drew and imaginary line across the Appalachian Mountains stating that the colonists could not expand past it and whoever was already past had to move back east. -
Sugar Act
The sugar act was when Grenville put taxes on molasses, as it was an important part of the triangle trade. He did it so England could make more money since they were in debt from the French and Indian War. The colonists grew very upset and protested. -
The Quartering Act
The Quartering Act was when British soldiers moved into colonists' houses and searched their belongings. The colonists had to provide food and hospitality to the soldiers. This was one of the things that led to the Boston Massacre. -

The Boston Massacre
Soldiers were sent to the colonies to protect colonists + they colonists disliked that. Colonists stood in front of british buildings and threw rocks, snowballs, and shells at the guards and called them bad names. The soldiers panicked and fired into the crowd. 5 people were killed.
