The kind Phaeacians(Book 13)
The Phaeacians help Odysseus home from Scheria after his long wanderings have ended, and after narrowly escaping the Charybdis. They load the ship with gifts and put Odysseus on board with them, and set sail. This quote supports the following, "Mighty Alcinous
dispatched a herald to conduct him to the sea
and his fast ship." book 13, lines 81-82. -
The Phaeacians get punished by Poseidon.(Book 13)
The Phaeacians drop Odysseus off as he still sleeps from the long sail, as seen in this quote "first they took Odysseus out,
lifting him from the hollow ship still wrapped up
in the linen sheet and splendid blanket," from book 13,lines 137-139. They pack back up and sail back for their home. As they pull into the doc to bay their ship turns to stone and sinks because they helped Odysseus: Poseidon's nemesis, this is supported by lines 196-197. "Earthshaker came up
and turned it into stone." -

Odysseus wakes up in a country he thinks hes never been before, (Which is actually Ithaca) he curses the Phaeacians for dropping him on another country than Ithaca. He’d been away so long, and Pallas Athena,Zeus’ daughter, had shed a mist around him," book 13, lines 238-230. -
