The defeat of the Nubians
After the defeat of the Hyksos, Ahmose marched on the Nubians to take advantage of their large amounts of gold and was victorious.

Hatshepsut was regent to Thuthmose III but then become the first female Pharaoh. She was depicted as a male including statues and art that showed her to have a beard and other manly features (this was to stay in power). -
