  • Civilian Conservation corps

    This was created to give men from ages 18-25 jobs, that included planting trees and fighting forest fires to prevent the repeat of the dust bowl. This resulted in the line made of 200 million trees known as the shelterbelt.
  • FDIC

    It was created to provide government insurance for deposits made in banks. It impacted the United States by making Americans more confident in investing banks.
  • Farm credit admististration

    this allowed Americans to refinance their mortgages. This stopped a lot of farms from foreclosure allowing agriculture to continue in America
  • Security and exchange commision

    it was created to regulate the stock market and prevent fraud in the stock market. It impacted America by allowing the stock market to be enjoyed without the worry of fraud now there is barely any fraud in the stock market.
  • Works progress administration

    Between 1935-1844 the WPA employed 8.5 million workers to work on Americas infrastructure. Today we have highways that take us to just about any city in America.
  • National labor relation board

    This act was a part of the Wagner act. The NLRB established organized factory elections by secret ballot to determine whether workers wanted a union. This made more working Americans more confident in forming unions.
  • Social security act

    This act was created to provide some financial stability for older adults the unemployed, the disabled, and others. This gave more Americans who are uneligible to work to have some of the necessities they need to survive.
  • National housing act

    It was created to provide poor Americans with low-cost housing during the housing crisis. This gave poor Americans the opportunity to live in affordable housing.
