Ylla
A girl has a crazy dream about a man going to Mars in a sparkly metal thing. A man hearing the sotry denys it. the next day the man asks the girl not to go see the man land. She listens reluctantly. Tehn the man goes off to hunt. -
The Summer Night
A woman is singing to a crowd but the only ting that comes out is a song in a different language. This totallly confuses the people and the musicians. When the musicians go to play, weird music comes out. That ngiht all of the woman in wake up in their sleep screaming " something bad will happen!!1" -
The Earth Men
A group heads to Mars. When they get there, they are upset that no celebration is ready for them. After asking many questions they meet ome people who take them to a building which resembles an insane assylum. After some confrentation, one of them pulls out a gun and shoots the captain, crew, and himself. -
The Tax Payer
A taxpayer goes to a launch pad and demands to go to MArs. They say no and laugh. He claims a nuclear war will commence on Earth. Later he is arrested and is just barely able to see the 3rd expedition leave. -
The Third Expedition

After the third expedition, a fourth one goes to Mars. They find several dead corpes of martians due to small pox. One man punches another one for his disrespect of the planet. Later he vanishes for a weak and then returns claiming he is the last Martian. He shoots six people. The captain orders him to be killed but cleanly. -
The Settlers
There is a growng interest in going to ars now. Many people want to get away from their old lives. As they leave, the world gets smaller and everything starts to blend. -
The Green Morning
A man passes out and decides to start to plant trees for higher oxygen levels. The plant make him in charge of planting trees all around Mars. After it rains, thousands of trees grow. -
The Locusts
As more and more people come to Mars, they begin to change it to look more and more like Earth. -
Night Meeting
Thoams is driving along and stops for gas. He talks to another human about the qualities of lving on Mars. He stops a few more times along his way and meets a martian. The martian talks to him for a little but gets upet at the news of his dead friends. They agree to disagree and go their separate ways. -
The Shore
As the rest of the world fights on Earth, America begins to colonize the new planet. -
The Fire Balloons
Two preists are sent to Mars to convert the Martians so they can be saved from their past sins. When they go, they are told about two types of martians. One is nearly extinct and the other is a blue sphere species that lives in the mountains. On their journey up the mountains, the blue Martians save them from many near death moments. After talking with them, the Martains confess that they don't have bodies and therefore cant be saved. -

The Naming of Names
As the humans settle into Mars, they come up with format of how to name graveyards and towns. This is done by using the name of the person who found it or what was found there. Again, the humans are changing Mars for their needs. -
Usher II
On Earth, a group in the government bans all imaginery things like vampires, ghosts, etc.. So a many who loves Edgar Allen Poe dicides to build a creepy mansion full of those things on Mars. A man comes to Mars to tell him he will have to tear it down. The inspector is then killed by an ape. Later, all of the top politicians are there for a party and killed and replaced by robots. The man who owns the house escapes in a helicopter before the government can get him. -
The Old Ones
As the men have made it to Mars in previous expeditions, the old people want to go to. They all go to MArs leavin behind thier old lives on Earth to live a short one on Mars. -
The Martian
A couple is on Mars and miss their dead son from Earth. They are astonished when they see him at the front door that night. They go into a town but lose the boy. When the father goes looking for him he realizes that it wa not actually his son but that the Martians can now change faces to appear to look like humans. -
The Luggage Store
Two men tlak about what i happening on Earth. They is a war breaking out and it has everyone worrying. The man who owns the store thinks he will soon have a lot of business because people will want to go back and see their family and hometowns. -
The Off Season
Sam opens a hot dog stand on Mars. He then shoots a Martian he thinks has a gun. Then a group of Martians comes to tell him that he now owns half of Mars. Sam is in disbelief. Then he and his wife see part of Earth blow up and catch om fire. -
The Watchers
A martian town watches Earth explode. A morse code is sent saying that one of Austrailias ordnance storages exloded wiping out the continent. Two other major cities have also been destroyed. They ask the settlers to come home. The luggage store owner sells all of his goods by dawn. -
The Silent Towns
A man is desperate to find love. He meets a larger woman named Mrs. Selsor. He thinks he is in love at first but soon realizes that he is not. She tries to get married right away and scares him off and Walter realizes that living alone is not as bad as he thought. -
The Long Years
Captain Wilder returns to Mars 20 years later only to find a man and his family. The family looks exactly the same as they did 20 years ago. He finds out that they are actually robots built by the man. He built them after they died so that he woudn't be lonely. He then dies of a heart condition. The captain the nleaves Mars headed for Earth. -
There Will Come Soft Rains
An automated house in California goes through its routine. The only problem is no one lives there anyomore. The hosue allows a sick dog in the house with then dies and is sent to the incinerator. Then that night, the hosue catches fire after a tree falls on it. In the mornin, only one wall is left and it ays " Today is August 5th, 2057". -
The Million-Year Panic
The last livning family goes to MArs. They destroy all memories of EArth and settle in to their new home. One child asks where the Martians are, and a man takes her to a canal so she can see them. he points the ripple in the water and say "there they are".
