    Refridgeration

    William Cullen at the university of Glasgow invented the first regridgerator ib 1748. However his discoveries weren't used for everyday reasons. In 1805, an American inventor named Oliver Evans designed the first refridgeration machine. The first refridgerator was built in 1834 by Jacob Perkins, it used air ina gas compression cycle. In 1844 an American doctor named John Gorrie built a refridgerator which he based off of Olver Evans' design.

    The industrial revolution was a time from 1750-1850 when people mainly from America and Britain moved from rural areas to urban areas. Many countries under the rule of others sought independence during this time. This caused special purpose machines to be created, mass production and a shift in power.

    Thomas Savery in England invented the steam engine in 1698 it was improved by Thomas Newcomon. James Watt, a scottish man, improved it again in 1763. Its main purpose was to pump water out of the coalmines.
