This was a time of artistic and social movement that took place in Harlem, NY for African Americans. Jazz, theatre, poetry, literature, and art surfaced as part of the most notable part of American History. -
The Dust Bowl
A huge wind came over the grasslands (that were overly farmed) and swept away the topsoil that created the Dust Bowl. Farming became very scarce and non-exsistant, which then led families to migrate West. -
Franklin D. Roosevelt
FDR believed in politics that had more government involvement to bring the US out of debt and the depression. He put i play several acts and bills that would then protect the common man so in the future the US could not suffer through another depression as bad as in 1930s. -
The New Deal
This was a series of programs that would come to raise America out of recession and kickstart the economy slowly but successfully. -
