With the help of his mother (a dress maker) Nick made short animations using cotton bobbins and sent them into Blue Peter. -
Went to Sheffield Hallam University

This is where Nick started on the first Wallace and Gromit film, A Grand Day Out. -
Joined Aardman Animations, Bristol.
Nick worked as an animator on commercial products (which also included the music video "Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel). -
