I don't know much about my own birth but what I do know is all my friends and family are very happy that I'm here in their lives. -
terrorist attack 9/11
I don't remember much about 9/11 only because I was so younge when it happened but what I do remember is that it was a very sad and freightening day for every one. I remember all my teachers saying "hurry turn on the T.V!" I also remember that there was a lot of crying that day between the teachers and my family. Had my appendix taken out
My mom was in Maui, Hawaii when I was back home with my dad when I had to go to the hospital for a sharp pain in my side. I was in 3erd grade so I was younge and scared. I had many tests done and than that day I had to go into surgery to get my appendix taken out. -
flood 2008 iowa
I remember this very well. The day before the actual flood my mom, my sister, and I went down to the river over on the bridge to see how high it was and it was pretty high. The next day I turned on the news and it had said that Cedar Rapids was 8 feet under water. Obama was elected Presedent of the U.S
My mom wanted Hiary Clinton to be president. I remember going to some place in Kirkwood college for my mom to to vote for who she wants. Great grandpa died
A week before my birthday I was getting ready for school when my grandpa calls my mom. He reminds us that my great grandfather has been in the hospital sick with an enlarged heart. He than informs us that he has passed away. I asked my mom if I could miss school that day but she wouldn't let me. I cried all day that day. It was very sad. -
Haiti Earthquake
This event not only changed the lives of that who lived in Haiti but also changed the lives of us in the U.S. I remember hearing it and seeing the earthquake on T.V for a long period of time. My mom and I had went over to a church where we know the people who are incharge of the youth group and all of us helped put kits together so we could send it to the people in Haiti. My sister graduated from highschool
I got to watch my sister and all her classmates and friends graduate. It was a long process but it was done. It was very exciting and happy. The only one not happy was my mom who had been upset because one of her babies were growing up and becoming an adult. Soon she would move out and be on her own. -
I got my first cell phone
I have wanted a cell phone since I was about 12 years old but never got one. My mom had always said that I wouldn't get one until I turned 16. My dad finaly talked my mom into giving me one for Christmas and I was so surprised and very, very happy. -
Baby cousin Olivia was born
This is my first blood baby cousin. My mom and I were at the hospital from 3pm March 12-3am March 13. It was very long but it was all worth it. She is the cutest baby I have ever seen. -
Washington D.C trip
This trip was very fun and exciting. It was a long trip well what felt like a long trip. We drove in a charter bus for I belive 2 1/2 hours to the Chicago Airport. Than after waiting for a few hours we took a plane to Washinton D.C than began our tour. We got to go with our friends and teachers which was a really exciting thing. I'm really glad I went. Osama Bin Laden
The day of my mom's birthday I get news that Osama Bin Laden was shot and killed by U.S forces. I than went online to see if it was true and it was. I was pretty happy to see that our enemy has died. It was obvious that a lot of U.S citizens were too.
