My grandmother getting detained by TSA
I was flying out of JFK airport by myself and for kids under the age of 13 they must be counted as an unaccompanied minor. It is a big process and huge responsibility for the flight attends to watch me. As I was getting ready to be picked up at the gate by my grandma she was going through TSA and made a big mistake. She brought her firearm with her. There was a huge process happening and as I get escorted by 2 cops I finally met her at the exit of the airport where there was 6 cops around her. -
Coming into High School
I remember like it was yesterday, I was getting ready to log onto my zoom class for my first day. It was a time of COVID where there was two groups. A and B. I was in group A and the first day for me was at home. It was a short boring day as I lay in bed, but the next day I was heading to high school for my first time. I was nervous but as soon as I went into the building I was not nervous anymore. -
My dog getting loose
As I was driving with my mom we were heading home as you see my brother running outside down the street. My mom and I were worried because usually he does not do that. My mom and I asked what was wrong and he told us that the dog got loose. My mom and I were driving around looking for him. After 10 minutes we finally found him across the big intersection we lived on and my brother pulled him into the car and we were all glad he was safe. -
Getting my permit
The big day I was waiting for. Getting my permit. I have been studying for weeks hoping to ace the quiz. I went with my dad to get my permit. I went into the DMV waiting on the line. We got called next and as we get our info ready I went to take the quiz. As I came back over the DMV guy graded it. He showed me the quiz and asked me what I get wrong? I was confused and said what did I get wrong. He said nothing you got a 100. I was so thrilled that I was legally aloud to drive now. -
Getting My Car
The day I bought my first. Once I went to the dealership I knew that this was my car and I would own it one day and a few weeks later I bought it. The car I own is a black Honda Civic 2020 4 door sedan. It has a 1.5 L 4 cylinder vtec engine and it is very good on gas. I get about 35 mpg. I take care of my car by washing and cleaning inside and out and make sure to put the best care into my car. -
Hiking with my friends
I love to hike, especially with my friends. The person in this picture is one of my good friends, Colin Krebs. We went to this place in Dover, NY and saw the waterfall. It was an amazing sight especially in the winter when the water was still somewhat frozen. There were a lot of cool things to see and also awesome paths to take. Even though we got lost trying to find our way back because we took and made our own path. We eventually found our way out and totally wanna go back. -
Going to Cape Canaveral
The exciting time I got to tour the Kennedy Space Station in Cape Canaveral Florida. It was so much to see and learn and I got the private tour around the whole campus and places where the public are not allowed to see. I even had an opportunity to touch a moon rock which feels like a regular rock but it was from the moon. There was still so much to do and I barley got a dent into everything they offered there and one day wanna go back and do even more! -
Getting My Drivers License
I have been waiting for this day for months as soon as I got my permit I wanted the next step. A driver's license. I took lessons and even practiced at home ready to pass this my first time and not come back. As the hours got nearer I grew nervous and once I was on line I was forgetting everything. As the DMV guy stepped into the car we went around and I was nervously waiting till 6 pm to see if I passed and when I checked it said in all green PASSED, and I was happy more than ever. -
Getting pulled over
The first time and only time currently I have gotten pulled over. I was going down the green chimneys hill on my way to the gym as I was going I saw the cop passing by as I was going 50 mph in a 30 mph zone. I knew instantly I was getting pulled over as I saw him whip around and put his lights on. My heart was rushing as I did not want a ticket. As the deputy came up to me I knew how he looked and how he walked toward my car I was not getting a ticket. After about 10 minutes I was let go. -
Almost getting arrested
My friends and I were going into an abandoned insane asylum and we were searching the whole building. As we were getting ready to leave we saw the cops siting outside in the front and we all hid for hours. As the time went by they were still there and finally they left and as we went back to our cars one cop was hiding and pulled in front of our cars and told us to get out. He said that if we were in there we would get arrested. I still do not know how we got away. -
Seeing Elvis
I have always loved Elvis Presley, and when I saw that he was having a tribute concert I was eager to go. As many people may know he died August 16th 1977. Yet his spirit and music still lives on in many people. I had the best time going to see Elvis on Long Island. The impersonator named Shawn Kush is a top Elvis impersonator in the world. I loved every moment and song he sung that night and would go again and again if he ever came back.
