Being that cotton could be made faster there was not a need for as many slaves; but the more cotton slaves bring in the more money is made so the number of slaves increased. -

The Sewing Machine was invented by Elias Howe. The significance of this item was that all the cotton that was being picked could now be turned into clothes. Through this the US can make more money of trading clothes. -

This invention was invented by Samuel Slater. This was basically a bunch of slaves running several cotton gins. This was significant because through this Samuel Slater was made the "Father Of The Factory System". -

This invention was invented by John Deer. The significance of this item was that it made plowing large fields a breeze. -

Interchangeable Parts were made by Eli Whitney. This showed that when i piece of an item is broken you don't have to throw the whole item away. Instead you can get it fixed so you can keep it. -

This invention was invented by Robert Fulton. This was apart of the Transportation Revolution. The significance of this invention was that through this we got supplies across water faster. -

We needed roads so that we could get products to each other. First we used steamboats but with that you had to go around land and follow the water. But what if something was faster instead of going around the land we could go through it. -
Erie Canal
We needed this so we could transport items even faster. Now instead of boats going around they could go through land.
