On January 27, 2010, Steve Jobs released the original Ipad. The perorders began March 3, 2010. It had a 9.7 inch screen and was only avalible in black. It did not have a camera, By April of 2011, Apple had stopped building them, after selling 15 million. -

1st Generation Ipad
The first-generation iPad Mini was a mini tablet computer designed by Apple. It was announced on October 23, 2012, as the fifth major product in the iPad line and the first of the iPad Mini line, which features a reduced screen size of 7.9 inches, in contrast to the standard 9.7 inches. It features similar internal specifications to the iPad 2, including its display resolution. -
The Ipad 2
The iPad 2 was announced on March 2, 2011 and released on March 11th. This version of Ipad came with dual cameras, front and back. The iPad 2 also added the digital adapter that allows the iPad to be connected to HDMI devices, compatibility that allowed the iPad to connect to a TV wirelessly through Apple TV, and the Smart Cover, which wakes the up the iPad when you open it. -
The Ipad 3
The Ipad 3 was announced March 7, 2012 by Tim Cook. The iPad 3 had a nice boost in Internet speed, adding the option of connecting to 4G networks. This speed allowed people to use the iPad 3 as a hotspot for other Internet devices. The iPad 3 was discontinued when the iPad 4 was released. -

On October 23rd, 2012, Apple announced an upgraded iPad, called the Ipad 4. This new iPad didn't change much from the iPad 3, mainly upgrading the processor chip, which provides twice the speed as the chip in the previous iPad. It was shipped with iOS 6.0, which provides a platform for audio-visual media, including electronic books, periodicals, films, music, computer games, presentations and web content. -
The Fifth Generation Ipad
The iPad Air is the fifth-generation iPad tablet computer designed by Apple Inc. It was announced on October 22, 2013, and was released in space gray and silver colors on November 1, 2013. The iPad Air features a thinner design with similarities to the iPad Mini, along with the same 64-bit Apple A7 processor with M7 coprocessor. -
Ipad mini Generation 2
The iPad Mini 2 is the second generation iPad Mini tablet computer produced by Apple. It has a design almost identical to that of the first generation iPad Mini but features internal revisions such as the addition of the A7 system-on-a-chip and 2,048 x 1,536 resolution Retina Display. Internally, the iPad Mini 2 has nearly the same hardware as its sibling device, the Ipad air. -
Ipad mini Gerneration 3
The iPad Mini 3 was the third-generation iPad Mini tablet computer designed by Apple. It was announced alongside the iPad Air 2 on October 16, 2014 and then released on October 22. On September 9, 2015, the iPad Mini 3 was discontinued and was replaced by the iPad Mini 4. -
Ipad air 2
The iPad Air 2 is the sixth-generation iPad tablet computer designed by Apple. It was announced on October 16, 2014 alongside the iPad Mini 3, both of which were released on October 22. The iPad Air 2 is thinner and faster than its predecessor, the iPad Air, and features Touch ID although the design, height and screen size are the same as the iPad Air. -

The iPad Mini 4 is the fourth-generation iPad Mini tablet computer designed by Apple. It was announced along with the iPad Pro on September 9, 2015 and was released the same day. It offers a fully laminated screen for the first time in an iPad Mini. -
Ipad pro
iPad Pro is an upcoming tablet computer by Apple. Announced on September 9, 2015, the tablet features a 12.9-inch screen, larger than that found in other iPad models. Three configurations are available: Wi-Fi-only models with 32 GB or 128 GB of storage space, and a 128 GB model with cellular connectivity. -
Ipad 6
Apple is preparing to roll out a larger, 12.9-inch version of its iPad for 2015, with production set to begin in the first quarter of next year.
