David Packard and Bill Hewlett founded the Helwett-Packard packet in Palo Alto, in a California garage.There first product was the HP 200A Audio Oscillator. Walt Disney ordered eight of the 200B to use as sound effects generators for the 1940 movie (Fantasia.) -
Harvard Mark-1

The Harvard Mark-1 was conceived by Harvard Professor Howard Aiken. It was used to produce mathematical tables but was soon superseded by store programed computers. -
