ImageChina was based around 3 social classes the Gentry which were the noblemen of that society. Peasants which were laborers which would provide food and other services for the other classes. Lower than peasants was the Merchant the reason of them being lower was that they would exploit others to become rich. They would raise their sons so they could be Gentry and the rest of their family would live on as such. -

When the Han dynasty started it was an overthrowing of the Qin Dynasty in 202 BC when Han Gaozu a Chinese peasant led an army unto the capital of the Qin Dynasty overthrowing Qin’s dynasty. -
