The 3 estates (Clergy, nobility, and commoners) met to fix the economic crisis -
National Assembly Formed
"Members of the third estate" aka the commoners made major reformation such as getting rid of tax exemptions for the nobility and getting rid of feudalism. -

The representatives of the commoners took an oath swearing that they wouldn't spread apart until France had a constitution. -

Revolutionary insurgents attacked the medieval armory, fortress, and political prison the Bastille, and got it under control -
Woman's march on Versailles
The march started in marketplaces where the women took a stance against the rising cost of bread. They went marching to Versailles demanding change. There was a crowd of 7000+. -
Constitutional Monarchy Formed
National Constituent Assembly forced King Louis XVI to have less power turning the absolute monarchy into a contituantal one. -
France is a Republic
Slowly, the constituent monarchy turned into a democracy following Robespierre and a series of violence that brought down the monarchy and established a republic, with right and laws for the citizens. -

Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVl were executed -

Robespierre took things too far, and began looking for people that disagreed with the revolution and executed them -

Robespierre and his followers were arrested and executed
