This was a meeting where representatives from each estate come & discuss problems in which only the1st and 2nd estates got a say in it which resulted in the Tennis Court Oath -

The National Assembly was established by the 3rd estate citizens in order to seperate themselves from the 1st & 2nd estates to pass laws and reforms to the government themselves. -

Three days after the Estates General began and the National Assembly was formed, the 3rd estate was locked out of the meeting room at Versailles & decided to stay at the Indoor Tennis Court until their rights were established (The first act of the Frenchc Revolution) -
