Storming of Bastille

The prison did not hold very many prisoners when it was attacked, but it didn’t matter-the mob wasn’t there for them, it was there to claim the rather large stores of ammunition located inside. The mob eventually took over the building after the governor of the prison refused them access. This storm of violence pinned the start of the French Revolution. -

Women's March to Versailles

The women were mad that while the people were starving King Louis and Marie Antoinette were feasting in their palace. The mob of angry women managed to get through and into the palace, where they headed straight for the queen. In the end, the women’s great march was successful in abolishing the French monarchy. -
