King louis XVI feared loosing his family, so he tried to move to Austria. Mary Antoniett's brother was the emperor of Austia. They moving plan failed. -

A new constitution creared by the National Assembly was created,there was limted monarcy and the Legislative Assembly was also created. -
Legislative Assembly declares war
The Legisltive Assembly decides to declare was on Austria and Prussia. Two of the main reason France wanted fight was because they thought it would unify more the country and they thought that the new government would be defeated easily by the foreign powers. -
Monarchy was abolishedd
The Legislative Assembly voted to not only abolish the monarchy, but also establish the First Republic. Food shortages and economic crisis led to the country to break down.
