    The Storming of Bastille was the start of the French Revolution. The Storming of Bastille was when the French stormed the castle in search of guns powder to protect themselves from the alarming soldiers carrying riffles.

    August 10, 1792, the monarchy was overthrown and an estimation of about 1200 kings men and insurgents, we're killed. 800 of them we're kings men and 400 of them were the insurgents. A republic was formed.
