The Creation of the National Assembly
The National Assembly consisted of the members of the third estate. They were angry, and went to a nearby tennis court at the palace where they swore an oath that they would not disband until a constitution was formed.

The Bread March
1000's of women marched from Paris to Versailles. They marched a total of 12 miles armed with broomsticks, lances, pitchforks, swords, pistols, and muskets. They wanted food and for King Luis XVI to sign the DRM .

The Reign of Terror is the period from mid 1793 to mid 1794. This was when Maximilen Robespierre ruled France and thousands of political figures and ordinary citizens were executed.
