The Third estate is angry with the King for locking them out of Versailles after they hear of the First and Second estates being able to over rule theeir vote, even though the Third Estate is about 90% of the people of Paris. they declared themselves the National Essembly. -

This was an oath taken by the National Assembly upon their creation. They swore to meet everyday until a constitution was draughted. -

The National Assembly passed a declaration stating that any attempt to arrest a member during a meeting was an act of treason -

A mob of the National Assembly attack and raid the Bastille Prison, they freed 7 inmates and collected gun powder for the rifles they stole from the military. -

The National Assembly end all the special priviledges of the French Aristocracy. -

The Declaration of the Rights of Man was draughed and signed on this day. It expressed the goals of the Revolution which was ultimately freedom. -
The March of the Women
On this day 7000 women and a few men left paris and marched to the Versailles palace to bring The Royal Family back to Paris. -

Now that King Louis no loner held power over France the National Assembly took Frances Debt into it's own hands and decided to sell Church property to pay off these debts -

Robespierre
Robespierre is arrested and attempts suicide by putting a bullet on his jaw. He survives and is then executed on the Guillotine.
