National Assembly Created
The National Assembly waas created to make seprate group to explain the rights the 3rd estate should have. They formed becuase the clergy and the nobility were going to do votes on the financial crisis by estate, not head. Therefore not fare. so the 3rd estate created a whole other assembly. called the National assembly.

Tennis Court Oath
The occured on one of the first days of the revolution. when the assembly tried to meet with the other estates the door was locked. so the went to a tennis court to meet instead. They made the tennis court oath stating they will meet there until their wants are met.

Attack On The Bastille
At one the point the king ordered his troops to surround paris. the people, bieng freaked out that they were about to be slaughterd, began to fight back. They had guns, but no gun powder. But the bastille did. so they broke in an stole it. killing all of the gaurds and tearing the bastille down in the process.

kings reaction to the revolution
The king was on a hunting trip at the time. When he heard of the news he said it was just a revolt. but no. he was told "its a revolution" -
Things that caused the revolution.
The French Revolution was mainly caused because of the the lack of freedom for the people. The people were poor, and had to pay all the taxes. They belived there should be a change in government. The american revolution and enlightenment ides inspired the french revolution. The french revoluton began with the storming of the bastille. -

The D.R.M was created to state the rights that all men should have. no matter what estate. But only men. Not women. It was inspired ny the enlightenment.

Bread March
The Bread March was the women rebelling where they marched to Versailles to ask for bread. They were fed up with the high price of it and wanted some. Eventually it all worked out and they were givin a ton of bread.

Royal Escape
The Royal Escape, or the Flight to Varennes was the night where the royal family tried to escape the french and go to austria for help. Their goal was to stop the revolution. But guards found them, and aressted them and brought them back. -

France declares war on austria because, it was basicly going to happen anyway, the french were keeping the queen held in prison, who was of austrian blood. -

King Louis the 16 was executed for all of his "crimes" against france. The thing that made him be executed was the failure of the royal escape. He put on trial and executed by the gullititien. -

The riegn of terror was the period in which many people were be-headed or just killed im general, for almost no reason. Any one who was even expected of opposing the revolution was aressted and killed. It lasted from september 5 1793 to july 28 1794. -
The Be-Heading of Robespierre
Robespierre was be-headed for many reasons. A main reason was for killing thousands of innocents. He over reacted and basicly went insane. He needed to be killed.

Napoleon became dictator of France when France needed a leader. He ruled from 17 March 1805 – 11 April 1814. He was the best chouice, because he was most famous military leader.
